An Authentic Experience
Where We Started, Where We’re Headed
We respect the art of wholeness. Our natural environment, local and seasonal ingredients, and our dedicated producers are all connected to each other. Working as one makes us stronger.
Nestled within the vibrant and bustling cityscape of NYC, Sushi Ikumi can be found in the quiet neighborhood of SoHo, Manhattan. At our sister restaurant, Hirohisa, Chef Hiro brings out the best flavors of each seasonal ingredient with his expertise and care. At Sushi Ikumi, we are building on Hirohisa's philosophy. To honor the blessings given to us from nature, we are committed to using seasonal ingredients and creating zero waste. We look forward to serving you with our creative and exciting Sushi, founded on the tradition and technique of Kaiseki Cuisine.
Our recent news is here
Oct. 1st, 2021
Due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic, the cost of ingredients and shipping has dramatically increased since 2020.
We did everything we could to avoid raising the price, but the situation has continued up through the year. Now we must unfortunately raise the price, which goes effect on October 18th, 2021. Our Omakase chef’s tasting menu will be $180 person.
We hope that you will understand the necessity of this price increase. We appreciate your continuing support.
Sincerely, Sushi Ikumi
