Whether you want to order multiple pieces of your favorite kind or just stop by for a quick bite, 'Okonomi' sushi allows guests to enjoy their meal based on their mood and appetite for the day.

 

For one night only, Sushi Ikumi will be offering this 'Okonomi' style. Feel free to order as much as you like from the menu and enjoy sushi your way!"

Sushi Chef Tasuku Murakami is bringing his decades of expertise to Sushi Ikumi for an exclusive one-week takeover. With over 20 years of experience, spanning Tokyo, Osaka, and Kobe, as well as Italy and the U.S., Murakami has led some of the most prestigious sushi counters in the world.

His career includes serving as an executive sushi chef at Michelin-starred Sushi Azabu in New York, crafting exceptional omakase at Atlanta’s acclaimed M by Umi, and leading the sushi program at The Lobster Club, a renowned Japanese brasserie. In Japan, he helmed multiple restaurants, including the esteemed Dateya in Osaka, and worked at elite sushi restaurants in Tokyo and Kobe.

During this special week at Sushi Ikumi, Chef Murakami will showcase his masterful technique, deep respect for tradition, and innovative flair.

We will carefully select the finest seasonal ingredients, like Snow crab, Kue groupers, and Kinmedai, all at their absolute best this time of year.

For those looking for a kaiseki experience, join us at our sister restaurant Hirohisa. We will be offering an upgraded menu based on our February omakase, featuring a special selection with Hokkaido uni, scallops, and Yonezawa beef for Valentine’s Day.
